I fossick and sieve the opal-bearing dirt myself across Coober Pedy's fields — Olympic, Eight Mile, Zorba and more — and every parcel is tagged with the field it came from.
Sorted by hand
Each chip crosses my sorting table and is picked with tweezers under daylight and blacklight. Potch-only pieces and junk never make it into a parcel.
Cleaned properly
Parcels are tumble-cleaned and rinsed, then graded by size and colour. What you pour out is opal — no dust, no mud, no filler.
